Fireworks: They're the best creation EVER

Just take a look at these pictures and tell me they're not great.
Who cares if you might burn your hand off, or maybe just your eyebrow.

I'm a Slacker, Again

So I understand if you no longer want to read about me, because I am a SLACKER. I have no excuse. But in the meantime I have found myself watching every episode of Psych ever made, playing games, I may or may not have looked at wedding dresses (just for the heck of it) and maybe engament rings, writting letters and drawing pictures, and sleeping, sleeping a lot accually. Its really not good for me.So listen to this and read this, and then maybe you'll like me again. And if that doesn't work then read this. I sure hope it works.

Yesterday was spent with the fam, in ELLENSBURG! Ilove that cute little town. It's where I belong. My cousins that are going to BYu were there and we had dthe bet of times. Peyton made me read in Spanish or else he was going to tickle me. I played Dominos for the first time with Taylor and Grace. I watched the Bosie Alabama State game with Melissa and Sharma and Bret. We held the funnist conversaions during that game. The Simpsons are the best. We were missing Ben but we'll see him soon enough. Just kidding Ben, I miss you. Yesterday was just amazing. And we had some really yummy food. It couldn't have gotten any better.

 Merry Christmas Adams.

Day 5

The Faded Blue Blanket
By: Fred Bauer

The most frighten shepherd that night was little Ladius, just ten. He cowered behind his three older brothers when the blinding star lit the hillside. When the angel appeared, he hid behind a huge rock. Yet after Ladius heard the glad news, fear left him, and he limped back to his brothers, who were planning to set out for Bethlehem.
"Who will tend the sheep?" asked Samuel, the oldest at sixteen. Ladius, leaning aganist his shepherd's crook to support a crippled foot, volunteered, "I'd only slow you down. Let me stay with the sheep." He wet his lips as eh talked. The brothers weakly protested at first, then made plans to go.
"We must each take a gift," said Samuel. One brother chose his flint to start a fire for the Christ child. Another picked meadow lilies to make a garland for the king. Samuel decided on his most precious possession-- his gold ring.
"Here-- take my blanket to him,"said Ladius. It was badly worn, a faded blue with patches.
"No, Ladius," said Samuel tenderly. 'The blanket is too tattered to give even to a begger-- let alone a king. Besides, you'll need it tonight."
The brothers departed, leaving Ladius alone by the fire. he laid his head upon the blanket and buried his face with his hands. Tears forced their way between his fingers, but soon the hush of the night soothed the boy's heartbreak. The world in silent stillness lay...
"Are you coming, Laduis?"called a voice. Stamding nearby was the same angel who had brought the news. "You wanted to see the child, didn't you?"
"Yes," nodded Ladius, "but I must stay here."
"My name is Gabriel," said the angel, "your sheep will be watched. Take my hand, and bring your blanket. The child may need it."
Suddenly Ladius was outside a stable. Kneeling by a manger were his brothers. Ladius started to call out, but the angel lifted a finger to his lips.
"Give me the blanket," Gabriel wispered. The angel took it and quietly covered the baby. But the blanket was no longer faded. Now it glistened like dew in the brillance of a new day. Returning , Gabriel squeezed Ladius's hand: "Your gift was best, because you gave all that you had...."
"Wake up, Ladius, wake up!" The boy rubbed his eyes and tied to shield them from the glaring sun. Hovering over him was Samuel.
"Did you find him?" asked Ladius.
"Yes," replied Samuel, "but tell me why you were sleeping without your blanket."
Ladius looked about with wonder. The faded blue blanket was no where to be found--then, or thereafter.

Life Gave Me Lemonade

I think YOU, yes you, should listen to this song.

He couldn't have put it any better!
So this whole Christmas story thingy is just an excuse for not being creative. I just feel like being lazy, and don't worry I'm not just being lazy on my blog, I haven't gone running in like a week. So no harsh feelings, my running shoes feel the same way.
Anyhoo, 3 days till Christmas!!

Day 4

The Christams Orange
Jake lived in an orphanage with eight other boys. In the wintertime it seemed any extra money went for coalto heat the old buildings. At Christmas, the buildings always seemed a litle warmer, and the food a little more plentiful, but more than any of these things..... Christmas meant an orange. It was the only time of year such a rare treat was provided, and it was coveted by each boy like no other thing that thay ever possessed.
Each boy would save his orange for several dyas, admiring it, feeling it, loving it, and comtemplating the moment he would eat it. Some would even save it until New Years Day or later, much like many of us relish saving our Christmas treed and decoations until New Years, just to remind us of the  joy of Christmas.
This particular Christmas Day, Jake had broken the orphanage rules by starting a fight. The orphanage mother took Jake's orange away as punishmentfor the crime committed. Jake spent Christmas day empty and alone. Nighttime came and Jake could not sleep; slilently, he sobbed because this year he would not have the orange to savorwith the other boys.
A soft hand placed on Jake's shoulder startled him, and an oblect was quickly shoved into his hands. The child then disappeared into the dark to leave Jake alone to discover a strange looking orange... an orange made from segments of nine other oranges....nine highly prized oranges that had to be eaten that Christmas night, instead of savd, admired, and cherished until a later date.

Day 3

A Boy Learns A Lesson
Thomas S. Monson
In about my tenth year, as Christmas approached I longed for an electric train. The time were those of econamic depression, yet Mother and Dad purchased for me a lovely electric train. Christmas morning bright and early I thrilled when I noticed my train. The next few hours were devoted to operating the transformer and watching the engine pull its cars forward andthen backward around the track.
Mother said that she had purchased a wind-up train for Widow Hansen's boy, Mark, who lived down the lane at Gale Street. As I looked at his train, I noticed a tanker car which I so much admired. I put up such a fuss that my mother succumbed to my pleadings, and gave me the tanker car. I put it with my train set and felt plaesed. Mother and I took the remaining cars and engine down to Mark Hansen.
The young boy was a year or two older than I. He had never anticipated such a gift. He was thrilled beyond words. He wound the key in his engine, it not being eletric, nor expesive like mine, and was overjoyed as the engine and three cars, plus a caboose, went around the track.
I felt a horrible sence of guilt as I returned home. The tanker car no longer appealed to me. Suddenly , I took the tank car in my hand, plus an additional car of my own, and ran all the way down to Gale Street and proudly announced to Mark, " We forgot to bring two cars which belong to your train." I don't know when a deed has made me feel any better than that experiance as a ten-year-old boy.

Day 2

Wally's Christmas Pageant
For years now, whenever Christmas pageants are mentioned in a certain little town in the Midwest, someone is sure to mention the name of Wallace Purling. Wally was nine and in the second grade, although he should have been in the fourth. He was big and clumsy, slow in mind and movement. Still he was well liked by the other children in his class, all of whom were smaller than him.He was always a helpful boy, willing and smilling, a natural protectorof the underdog. Wally fancied the idea of being a shepherd in the Christmas pageant that year, but he was assigned to a more important role. After all, the play's director reasoned, the innkeeper didn't have to many lines, and Wally's size would make his refusal of lodging to Joseph more forceful
No one onstage or off was more caught up in the magic of pageant nihgt than Wallace Purling. The time came when Joseph appeared, slowly, tenderly guiding Mary to the door of the inn. Joseph knocked hard on the wooden door set into the painted backdrop. Wally the innkeeper was there waiting.
" What do you want?" Wally said, swinging the door open with a brusque gesture.
" We seek lodging." Joseph said.
" Seek it elsewhere." Wally looked straight ahead but spoke vigorously. 'The inn is filled. There is no room in the inn for you." He looked properly stern.
" Please, good innkeeper, this is my wife, Mary. She is heavy with child and needs a place to rest. Surly you must have some small corner for her. She is so tired."
Now, for the first time, the innkeeper relaxed his stiff stance and looked down at Mary. There was a long pause. "No! Begone!" the prompter whispered from the wings. "No" Wally repeated automatically. "Begone!"
Joseph sadly placed his arm Mary, and the two of the started to move away. The innkeeper did not return inside the inn however. Wally stood there in the doorway, watching the forlom couple. His mouth wae open, his brow creased with concern, his eyes filling unmistakingly with tears. And suddenly the Christmas pageant became different from all others. "Don't go Joseph," Wally cried out, "Bring Mary back." His face brightened with a big smile "You can have my room."
Some people in town thought the pageant had been ruined. Yet there were the others-many, many others- who considered it the most Christmasy of all the Christmas pageants they had ever seen.

Day 1

For the next week I will share with you my favorite Christmas stories.
                                                              Jello Christmas
                                                           By Sandra Bateman
It was but a few short days until Christmas in 1966. Two young Elders of the Mormon church walked the streets of Laredo, Texas, knocking on doors in search of someone who would listen to their gospel message. No one, it seemed, in the entire city had time to hear the teachings of the Savior, so intent were they that the celebration of His birth should suit their own purposes.
Filled with discouragement, the two young men turned their backs to the approching twilight and began the long walk home. Retracing their steps of the of the afternoon, they came upon a low, windswept riverbank. Jutting from its brow stood the barest means of shelter, constructed of weathered wooden slats and a large piece of cardboard. Strangely, they felt  moved to go to the door and knock. A small, olive skinned child with tangled black hair and large dark eyes answered. Her mother apperad behind her, a short, thin woman with a tired but worm smile. In her rich Spanish alto, she invited the young men to come in and rest a while. They were made welcomed and seated on teh clean swept floor. The little one-room shanty seemed to be filled with shy, smiling, dark-eyed children. The mother proudly introduced each of them-- eight in all-- anad each in turn quickly bobbed his or her head.
The young men were deeply moved at the extreme poverty they saw. No one in the family had shoes, and their clothes were ill-fitting and in conditioin beyond mending. The walls of the little home showed daylight between the wooden slats, and eight littel rolls of bedding were pressed tightly together into the cracks to help keep out the drafts until they were needed for sleeping.
A small round fire pit dug in one corner marked the kitchen. An odd assortment of chipped dishes and pots were stacked beside an old ice chest, and a curtained-off setion with a cracked with a porcelain tub served as the bathing area. Except for these the room was bearen. The mother told how her husband had gone north to find employment. He had written that he had found a job of manual labor and that it took most of his small wage to pay his board and room. But, she told the young men, he had managed to save fifty cents to send to them Christmas, with witch she had purchased two boxes of fruit gelatin. It was one of the children's favorites and would make a special treat on Christmas day.
The next morning, as soon as the local shops opened, the young men hurried to the dime store and purchased as many crayons, cars, trucks and little inexpensive toys as they could afford. Each was carefully wrapped in brightly colored paperanda all were put in a large grocery bag. That evening the two young men took their gifts to the shanty on the riverbank. When they knocked, the mother swung the door the door open wide and invited them in. They stepped inside and in halting Spanish explained to the children that they had seen Santa and he had been in such a hurry, he'd asked if they would deliver his gifts to the children for him.
With cries of delight the children scrambled for the bag, spilling its contents upon the floor and quickly dividing the treasured packeges. Silently the mother's eyes filled with tears of gratitude. She stepped forward to clasp tightly one of each of the young men's hands in her's. For long moments she was unable to speak. Then with tears still welling from her, she smiled and said "on one ever has been so kind. You have given us a special gift, the kind of love that lights Christmas in the heart. May we also give you a special gift?" From the corner of the room she drew out the two small boxes of fruit gelatin and handed them to the young men. Then all eyes were moist. All knew the true meaning of giving, and none would ever forget that at Christmas, the greatest gift of all was given.

Snuffolofagus GO AWAY!!

I need some more medicine.  But i cant have it for four more hours, I dont want liver problems I just want to get better. I think my nose is going to explode. Serious. It doesnt help that my mommy isnt home to take care of me.
As i was searching google images for pictures of being sick I found this and I love it.

Tissues have become my new best friends. The best part is I get to sit at home and watch cheesy romantic ABC family Christmas movies. Loves.
And i get to read cute stories here and here.
Guess what i have another pen pal. Her name is Harms but not really. She's cool. You should be jealous.
Funniest joke ever it goes something like this: why do mother kangaroos hate the rain? Because the kids have to play inside all day. HAHAHAHA isnt that a good one. I heard it from a laffy taffy.
This post most likely makes no sense but thats okay. I blame it on the meds I'm taking.

A Recent Journal Entry

November 14,2011
Well, today was just fantastic because there was no reason for it not to be. One day I walked into Bowens room and he asked me how I was. Knowing me I answered with either fantastic, amazing, super, or something like that. You get the point. But anyways he asked me why I was so fantastic and I said " because there's no reason not to be" or " why not". Again I don't remember. So things I've learned as of late:
- Dont let any one person ruin your day because they might be having a bad day.
So a girl at my school doesn't really like me and she doesn't Say the nicest things about me. At first I let it get me down mad ruin my day. But as of late I've realized it's not worth it.
- Alma might be long but the last 10chapters are my favorite.
War chapters. You've got to love them. I love the story when Moroni makes the plan to set his people that the Laminaties have captured. Also I love the stripping warriors and how they had so much faith. It's amazing and a great example.
- Math can be enjoyed if you listen to Joshua Radin.
This man just makes me happy.his songs are great and when you do math to them it equals loves. No joke! And I'm not a huge fan of math.
- Dandruff shampoo makes your hair really soft.
I dont have dandruff I promise. But it's all I had. ( P.S I'm not kidding! Use it.)
- I love to write
I've known this for a while. Just thought you wanted to know, if you can't already tell.
- When boys take off their shirt it's gross.
Yes I promise I'm a girl and I promise I'm not sick. But when boys take off their shirt it's sick. I mean it. Keep your shirts on.
-Finding out who you are and being cool with it is the best.
No story . But it's true.
- Gaining a testimony of your own is even better.
Also no story. But read your scriptures ir helps.
- Counting down till Brady comes home is way more fun then counting down till Christmas.
30 days! Only 30 days!
- Coloring might be for four year olds but it makes everyday better.
Just have me show you my "happy pages".
- Happy music is fantastic
Joshua Radin, Tyrone Wells, Ingrid Michelson, He is We, The Workday Release, Avalanche City. Look them up. Oh and don't forget Lenka.
- Long car rides are fun. Even if they hurt your booty.
Do it, totally worth it.
- I love people.
Why not its cool . But just be nice.
- People are people no matter what. Dont try to change people just let them be who they are.
Its no fun when people try to change you.
-Killing woth kindness is nice.
That same girl is experiancing it right now, even if she doesnt know it.
- Joseph B. Wirthlin and Gordon B. Hinckley were some wise men.
If  I lived in Gordon B. Hinckleys time I would have had a huge cruch on him. I really said that. He was amazing.
"Come what may and love it"
~ Joseph B. Wirthlin
" Forget yourself and go to work."
~ Gordon B. Hinckley
- Boys who admire/ respect their mom's and sister's are suddenly more attractive.
I cant write what i wrote in my journal here because its for my eyes only. Sorry, my greatest appolgies.
- Being nice is so much easier.
I did learn it but no story.
- Let blisters pop by themselves.
DONT touch them it hurts and it's not woth it. Even if you want to see whats inside.
- Wrestling started today. I better careful.
Boys again. Their trouble. And gross. My life is now full of basketball and wrestling. Loves.
- Look for the good not the bad.
It makes an enormous difference. So just do it.
- Snowflake Arizona Temple equals loves.
Its so pretty.

This Could Bore You to Death

Well. Today has just been super-duper amazing. It started last night when i made the yummist homemade hot chocolate and listening to Owl City's christmas song Peppermint winter. Then i went to bed and had good dreams. I woke up early for a Sunday and headed to chior. Church started about an hour later. It was fantastic. I came home and read my cheesey romantic book for like 2 hours. Accually thats a lie I made my bed first. Then I started to write this documatry on my day while listening to Taylor Swift. I love her sometimes.

Dude, Im a SLACKER!

Okay, okay i know i haven't posted in like 13 years. Life has just started back up again. Accually basketball has. And because I've played basketball for nine years i have a hard time staying away from it. So heres an update as of late:
BASKETBALL is consuming my life and i love it
My FAVORITE sister payed me a visit and it was a blast.
My youngest brother was baptized and is now a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
I am going through Brady withdrawls. I miss that boy a lot right now.
My G's left for their mission.
And last but not least i am now pretty much in love with  Joshua Radin. He makes me happy. You should look him up.
So i utterly believe that Joshua Radin can make the worst thing you pretty much ever have to do ( math) amazing. Math disgusts me. End of story.
Brady i will see your face in approximately 32 days! i cant wait.

Me and the fam. If i've learned one thing about boys it's that they just cant
ever just have a normal smile.

Someday Someday Someday

Someday:

I will be married

I will have a family
And  i will grow old.
" Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope."
~ Sansknt  Proverb
" Stop waiting for life to come tomorrow, begin living today. Dont miss whats now because you are looking for whats next. Dont live life looking into the future for happiness . Rather live today! Celebrate everything you have to celebrate, your family and freinds. Material things are worthless. How you treat your family is priceless. Did you think to pray? Did you smile? Did you say i love you. Stop waiting for life to come tomorrow. Begin living today. Dont miss whats now because you are looking for whats next."
~ Paul Cardall
"God left the world unfinished...The pictures unpainted and the music unsung and the problems unsolved, that man might know the joys and glories of creation."
~ Thomas S. Monson
So in the mean time i will embrase today and CREATE. I wont look for tomorrow and i will live in the moment. I will live today well so that my "tomorrows" will be hopeful.

The Small Things In Life

Today in Church Brother Porter gave the lesson for all the youth. And it was fantastic. We talked about the small things in life and how there really not that small if you think about it. We talked about how just one smile or one phone call can change someones life. We could be saving someones life, we never know. We also talked about how just one life can change the world and how big one life in the billions of lifes in this world is  huge. Take Joseph Smith for example. If you dont know who he is he was the man who restored the true chuch and gospel upon this earth. I would look at this site to find out more about him. http://mormon.org/joseph-smith/. But anyway he was just one boy who has changed my life and thousands of others even though he live over two hundrede years ago he is still changing lifes. My friend Rachael talked about a song that my older brother had shown her and it gets my thoughts out just perfectly so i encourage you to watch it.
i also want to share another video with you all
heres another really good one
and this is my last one

I Went A Dancing

So last night i got to go to a dance for my church. And can i just say it was fan-freaking-tastic. You should of been there. It was pretty much non-stop dancing for an hour and a half. So we got to dress up and my favorite costumes were the black eyed peas and Flynn Ryder. You may ask how can you be the black eyed peas so let me tell you. You first need a black eye. Then you take a white t-shirt and put a P as in the letter. Then walla you are now a black eyed pea. But you kinda need a friend to make you the black eye peas. OH and i cant forget Flynn Ryder, someone was Rapunzel and then they danced together and it was amazing. And they played the most coolest music ever for a church dance. My two favorite songs (Hear Me You and Ill be from a Cinderella Story and i was in heaven.)
                                                                 THE END

Be Still My Soul

Be Still My Soul
Be still my soul: the Lord is on thy side
With patience bear thy cross of grief or pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In ev'ry change he faithful will remain
Be still my soul: Thy best, thy heav'nly friend,
Thru thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

This song is just so amazing. Even though this is the only the first verse .I have found a lot of comfort in it lately. I love the part where it says "thru thorny ways leads to a joyful end" because it is so true.

Today i babysat one of the cutest kids on this earth. His name is Max. He was talking to me and he said "big boys climb up the couch." i was so confused so i asked him " does your dad climb up the couch like that cause he's a big boy right." Max answered " no he's not a big boy!" and i said "what he's not??" he said "no my daddys a Man." All i could do was just laugh.

Sometimes I Wish I Was a Pirate

Just a few things Ive seen and loved:

And this:

Modest is Hottest, Ladies. "I find the whole concept of being ‘sexy’ embarrassin...g and confusing. If I do an interview with photographs people desperately want to change me - dye my hair blonder, pluck my eyebrows, give me a fringe. Then there’s the choice of clothes. I know everyone wants a picture of me in a mini-skirt. But that’s not me. I feel uncomfortable. I’d never go out in a mini-skirt. It’s nothing to do with protecting the Hermione image. I wouldn’t do that. Personally, I don’t actually think it’s even that sexy. What’s sexy about saying, ‘I’m here with my boobs out and a short skirt, have a look at everything I’ve got?’ My idea of sexy is that less is more. The less you reveal the more people can wonder. - Emma Watson
And then i saw this:
and it made my day.
And finally now i get to go watch almost the bestest movie ever Tangled!

Life Goals

Just a few days ago one of my teachers asked for a volunteer to write their life goals on the board. I quickly shot my hand up thinking that this wpould be so much fun. And suddenly with a giant smile on my face i made my way up to white board. So here ae my life  goals:

1. In a few short years make it into BYU.

2. Get my teaching degree
3. Go on a mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints
4. Come home from my mission and go teach English in South America
5. Fall in love
6. Be married to the man of my dreams in this georgous temple

Arizona Snowflake Temple
7. Have children and give them cool names
8. Go back to teaching in the USA
9. Retire and travel the world with my hubby.
10. Live my life to the fullest and leave it with no regreats.

Volleyball Brought Me Pain Today and ... That's a First

Today i got my booty whooped by my volleyball coach.I hurt all over and popped like 3 blood vessels. Oh and my favorite the 5 raspberry's that are on my hips and knees and all over. lets just put it this way my  body is beautifully decorated  with purples and  pinks and blacks and blues and all those other colors. Thanks Coach J i learned a lot today but mostly not to play like poop in a game and to dive for every ball that's going to hit the floor or i get to run. Hehehe practice wasn't that bad and it was lots of fun. But i am serious about all the bruises and all the other good things.
Anywho  my favorite thing every is finding songs on your iPod that you never knew you had and then falling madly in love with them. Or when one of the main peoples at Standards Night is even cuter than Jimmer and you get to stare at him for like an hour and a half oh and he happens to be your one best friends from  6th grade brother yup that's pretty awesome. And then you see your friend at school and your like hey i think your brothers pretty hot and he gives a funny look and walks away. Most awkward thing ever but thank goodness this didnt really happen (but i thought about it).

i love this its my new favorite!

Dr. Seuss And Football

Yesterday as i was walking down the hallway at school with my binder in hand, and i was listening to all the conversations  going on. I think its so sad that people just say the meanest thing to people and that they are offended about the way people look or the things that people wear or the way people talk. I just wonder why cant we just let people be who they are and be okay with that. Honestley. If we were to just think like Dr. Seuss when he said " Be who you are and say what you feel because those that mind dont matter and those that matter dont mind." Then no one whould be affraid to be theirself.
Yesterday i also got to watch my brother play football and can i just say he's a beast. I love football. Oh and my brothers of course i love them too. And they all play football!

My childhood best friend

   Yup he's a stud!
