Awkward:
- You won't believe what I did on the last day of school, and my last school bus ride in my life. I tripped onto the bus again, this time leaving three beautiful bruises on my shin. This time instead of hanging my head in shame, I embraced the embarrassment and laughed with everyone else. Definitely a better choice than hanging your head. I think everyone who rode my bus will remember me for the rest of their lives as the girl who tripped onto the bus and fell into the bus drivers lap. That might have been the most awkward part of the whole story.
- For the first couple of days my basketball coaches knew me as " the girl who got hit in the face and bled out of her nose for thirty minutes.
- Yesterday I got asked if I had a room mate for the GU camp, and I replied " Ya, Nicole took me" then Nicole said " where did I take you?" and I replied " you are my partner". Then she asked " hey partner, do you want to go lay in the grass with me" and I said " yes partner, I would like that a lot." I don't think some of the girls appreciated our jokes, neither did the coaches, but it was really funny.
- Sometimes I sing to my fish Douglass. Mostly out of tune and off key, when I try I can sing but I like to keep my life colorful. I think he thinks I'm crazy, but then who doesn't?
- I almost asked a random lady at Walmart if I could borrow her basket. the plan was to borrow it the never return it but I chickened out and didn't ask. The awkward part was right after we passed her I told my mom the plan and right as I looked back at the lady she looked at me and she gave me the look like " don't you dare steal my cart. I just laughed.
- As I was walking into Walmart, a cart was rolling into the middle of the rode, so what did I do. I pretended to be Superman and ran to the cart and stopped it from hitting the car that was coming. I felt really cool... until I noticed that the cart was going to fall on top of me.
Awesome:
- Nicole told me that she talks in her sleep, I told her that I'll just talk back.
- In the last week I have gone t o bed no sooner than one in the morning. That means on average I have gotten about four and a half hours per night. Lets just say that when I don't sleep I am freaking hilarious. Just ask my mom.
- Me and my mother were talking about the Beatles ( Paul McCartney was on the front page of Time) and she asked me if I even knew who they were. I replied " duh, who doesn't? " Then she asked me if I could name all four. I said " of course" and named John Lennon and Paul McCartney and spaced on the last two. ( I cannot believe that I couldn't remember the other two) Then my madre told me that they were Ringo Star and George Harrison. Then to prove to her that I knew who they were I told her about how some people think he is still alive and the lady checking out in front of us said " I just saw him" Then as she was walking away she said " he was with Elvis." Best thing of my life.
- At practice I threw a ball to my coach and it rolled into the training room, so she threw back at me and it hit me in the face. Count on how many times I've been hit in the face today: 5.
-When my coach walked out of the gym today we were having a "serious meeting" and Anna ( a girl on my team) said to my coach " I thought you had a drivers license"( she was pushing the ball rack out of the gym and was struggling) Coach walked by and said " shut up." The group of girls who were around me and Anna and Nicole all burst into laughter. The head coach yelled at us and told us that we need to be serious. When you are with me when I am going off four hours of sleep and Nicole is with me, nothing is serious, so you probably don't want to expect us to be.
- I said a lot of stupid things today, they were all really funny. Then I told my Mom that if I died she wouldn't know what to do because I make her life colorful. A while after that I told her that I am glad that I can entertain myself because if I was boring I would be bored all the time. Like I said me on four hours of sleep is crazy. But it is really funny. Next time I am like this I will invite you to come to my house and observe my funniness.
- I really wish that I still played soccer. I have been trying to pick up on some of those moves that I use to be able to do. I don't plan on playing on any Olympic soccer team any time soon. But then good soccer skills run in this town, Hope Solo the goalie for U.S women's soccer team graduated from my high school and played for the team all four years of high school. Are you jealous?

Awkward and Awesome Thursday
Awkward:
- Tripping onto the bus. Super embarrassing. Just smile and DON'T make eye contact, it's a bad idea.
- My school does an Apple Bees breakfast thingy every year. It's been going on for thirteen years. Guess who is the only student in all history who has ever broken a plate. Your's truly. I didn't only break one though, I broke five. My teacher still tells the story. I am a legend. But that's not the awkward part. The worst part is that random people come up to me at school and ask me if I am that girl who broke all the plates. When asked I laugh and say " no, why would I do something like that?" Yup, I am a liar. Only sometimes.
- Remember Quinton, he still likes me. I try to be nice but dude I can only handle so much of you.
- Yesterday in science our teacher was openly discussing his relationship status. I was like dude, I don't really care.
- I showed girls around my school today. They are good little girls from a school called Christ the King. We were walking by my friends who were stapling papers and one of them stapled his finger, he dropped the f- bomb and that look the girls gave him was so funny. I was laughing so hard. The girls didn't talk for the rest of the tour.
- Me and Meagan openly discuss the boys we have been crushing on since forever with Mr. Appel. He thinks it's funny. Seriously it is though. We always are laughing,
-those girls we showed around, they didn't laugh at any of mine or Meagan's jokes. It was really sad.
- I am back to having to keep my ankle wrapped up. It sucks. I just want to be healthy.
- My brother has MONO. I shared a drink with him. Not lately but like in the last month. I hope I don't get it.
Awesome:
- On the bus I had to teach a kid how to spell awesome. It was really sad.
- The wonderful dreams I have been having lately. We won't g into detail, you will think I am weird if I tell you about them. ( I promise they aren't dirty)
- My adopted brother is sleeping at my house tonight. He is pretty chill.
- So You Think You Can Dance started tonight. I can't wait to watch it tomorrow.
- I babysat Christian this week. He feel asleep on my chest. It was so sweet.
- I am going to my first professional baseball game on Saturday. I can't wait.
- I have to memorize the periodic table, but I'm not going to. I don't really care about school any more.
- There are only 11 more days of school. Summer please come faster.
- I haven't gone to bed till midnight for the last three days. I love my book so much, I just can't seem to put it down
Speaking of going to bed I need to do that so buenas noche amigos
P.S I am almost fluent in Spanish. Can't you tell?

Awkward and Awesome
Awkward:
-When a boy has such a big crush on you that he makes an effort to be next to you all the time. It would be cute, but guys he is weird and not that cute and I could beat him up with one finger. I'm sorry to say that his "little" crush is creeping me out. I had Holly tell him to back off and leave me alone because he was freaking my out, it worked for two days, then he was back to sitting on my lap again. It doesn't help that he sits right next to me in forth and fifth hour classes. To make it worse he rides my bus and lives in my neighborhood. Thank goodness for my Dad at school ( my counselor/ teacher) he said if he keeps it up he'll break it to him and tell him to stop following me. What would I do without Holly and Mr. Appel?
- I'm am so white, I just want my tan!
- This awesome weather were having here in Tri-Town, not. Mother nature I am questioning your sanity.
- Not being able to remember/ think of anything to write
- Standardize testing. It makes me moody, and people that's a problem. I haven't been fun to be around for the last two weeks, and I don't think it will get any better till this testing stuff is over, and that's like two weeks.
-When you friends that are boys are playing footsie right next to you, and they accidentally somehow get your foot stuck with theirs and your like "what the heck are you doing with my foot boys?" and then their like "oh that's your foot sorry." We didn't talk for the rest of the hour.
- Playing MASH. All I can say is, sometimes you marry the nerds and other times you marry seventh graders. No problem. I'm cool with it and I like nerdy boys.
-Sometimes I just take other peoples food. It mostly happens at lunch. It's a good thing my friends like me.
Awesome:
- Brady's home. My life is complete. I want him to stay forever, but we all know that that's not going to happen, he leaves to the land of the Brazilians in August. He will do so good.
- That feeling you have after you finish a book. Even if it is the worst book you've ever read.
- My fifth hour teacher doesn't mark people tarty or late or anything. It's awesome, and so is he.
- Doing service projects for Mutual (which is practically youth group for the LDS/ Mormons.) We laid six crates of sod, and shoveled 18 yards of rock. I've never had so much fun in my life. Here's a funny story from the night: the Elders were there, and of course the had normal clothes on. I was standing behind them and to my friend I was like" who are those boys in front of us, I've never seen them in my life" and like two seconds after I said that they turned around simultaneously and said "Kelley you know who we are" they weren't even wearing their name tags. It was weird. By the way me and Elder Ray matched, we were both wearing our red volleyball shirts, now that was weird.
- Tomorrow night I get to babysit my five most favorite kids. I am so excited. We are going to have a blast.
- Right now I am listing to "old" country music I love it.
- Rachel this is for you, or any other teenage girl who want's to read it.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday
Awkward:
-The bruise on my foot that is in the shape of a horse shoe. Like the actual size of a horses foot. My skin is a pretty blue-green color. I always find a way to hurt myself.
-Talking to random people in the hallway. What do you say when they give you little look like "I don't want to do it, you do. If you don't do it I'm going home. Okay I'll do it" Sorry, I just had a Kid History moment.
- Quoting Kid History when either the person next to you gives the look like "what the heck are you talking about child." or having to say after you quote Kid History "um Kid History moment, sorry you didn't catch on to that, and I know that you've seen it so don't pretend you haven't." I only said half of that out loud.
- Shoving breakfast down your throat, when your brother walks in with his attractive friend and your like " oh hey don't mind me, I'm just running a bit late." Then choking on the food you just placed in your mouth. In that situation you hid your face and run out of the room. And make your little brother go in that room when you forget something, just to resist the embarrassment.
-Being that kid in class who is the ONLY who will answer questions, so after you answer one question you sulk down in your chair and hope the teacher doesn't call on you.
- Every time you try to spell because, you have to use the acronym: big elephants can always use some exercise; because it's not like you have been spelling that since you were in second grade. But even worse, yesterday I couldn't remember how to spell Mississippi. Do you remember having contests in like first grade to see who could spell it the fastest. I always lost those contests. It might still be the longest word I know.(Kidding)
Awesome:
- Driving down the highway BLASTING Mulan. Best night ever. The best part was that it was my brothers idea.
- Talking to the Elders almost everyday this week. They crack me up. It was even better when one of them asked me for sheet music.
- Horseback ridding. I went fast. That's the reason for my bruise. But it was totally worth it.
- Watching Up in Spanish. Cutest love story ever.
- Late night runs to McDonald's. I don't sleep so it's no problem.
- over competitive dads. NOT. It was the Pinewood Derby for goodness sake, and it was for your son not you! Lets just say that I had to leave the room.
- The mini photo session I had with Brock. One of the cutest kids ever, and the pictures turned out goo for just messing around.
- The song previously mentioned in the post before. Rocking out to it right now.
- It's raining, it's pouring, my old man is snoring. I love the rain. I wish it would rain all day everyday. I promise I'm not a sad person, for some weird reason it makes me happy.
-The sunshine. So I sound bipolar right now I know but the sun is finally starting to come out.
- Lastly, for "entry task" in history we were asked to draw our favorite famous person, and I drew Chuck Norris (even though I have no idea who he is, and just last week I found out that he is real) and he had a super cool mustache/beard. Be jealous of my drawing skills. Really don't because they're not that great.
I have been planning this post for like three days. Tells you how much of a life I really have. Lets be honest, life has been kind of slow lately. Most of my days are the kick-back-and-relax/ throw-your-feet-up-on-the-nearest-table sort of days. I've mostly been writing stories. I think they turned out pretty good. Someday I might just put them on here. But they are even longer than this post, and I couldn't type fast to save my life.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday
Awkward:
- The conversation that brought up my overly flirtatious science teacher, and ended with me and Meagan telling our sixth hour teacher how flirtatious he was. Then our teacher saying "well, if it get's out of hand just let me know and I'll take care of it." He may have more power than teachers. And he likes to pretend he's our Dad. It's awesome. Really
- Having to explain how someone is being/ is flirtatious. I just say " you know, they do that thing, and then..."
- not having any clothes to wear, so you just wear the sames ones you did yesterday. No problem, I'll just do laundry um, never.
- When someone is hiding on the other side of the corner and then they jump out at you and almost make you pee your pants. And then realize it's that one boy who has had a crush on you since you were like seven, and just happens to be weird. I just have the worst luck with guys.
- Talking to that boy, previously mentioned, because you are forced to. Small talk, it's my favorite.
-eHarmony commercials. No I don't like talking to people in person, why would I want to talk to them on the internet and then "fall in love with them" , I'm not the most trusting person. I would be to scared to talk to a stranger.
Awesome:
- Dancing down the hall in your socks. It's normal at home but at school it's a different story. I just hate wearing shoes. But mostly I couldn't twirl in my shoes, it was to hard.
- The story I wrote that I just happened to be the Princess in. My dreams came true in that book.
- All the songs that I've recently remembered about. It's awesome
- Math homework. Not.
- Feeding the Elders. We always seem to have the best of times. I guess you would just of had to be there.
-My brother jumping a pile of wood on his dirt bike. It was super cool.
- The fact that my brother happened to bring a friend over to eat Pops this morning, and I decided not ot look cute today, and his friend was soooo good looking.
- There is only one day left till the best day of my life. Now watch them not show up. Wouldn't that be great.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday
So its been, oh let me count, three weeks since I started this "tradition". I haven't been all to great at keeping it but I've got my excuses. Utah and Portland. So starting today I am going to try to be better.
Awkward
- Walking in on a couple who is totally making-out. Um please go else where, you might think it's cute but I find it highly disgusting
- Being in love with the same boy as the rest of the girls on this planet. Josh, why do you have to be so darn handsome?
- Star Trek.
- Walking into Target belting out Kenny Chesney, not knowing the words to the song you are singing ( I was making up my own), and running into someone you know. Thank goodness that person knows me well, but still extremely awkward.
- Spell check. It is making me figure out how to spell every word that I don't know. Someone help me.
- The wind. My clothes just like to blow off of me, what can I say. I promise I do try to keep them on.
- Wanting to play with a dog ( that doesn't happen very often), but that dog doesn't want to play with you. So you tell the boy sitting next to you to call that dog over so you can pet her.
- The word pet, and wax too.
Awesome
- The amount of times me and Meagan have hung out this week.
-My hairdresser. She can work magic. My hair might be cute now. Just maybe
- Not having any homework this week. I am LOVING it.
-Maybe making an emergency trip to E'burg this week so I can gain my sanity
- Passing time by looking at Josh and only dreaming about going on just one date with him. Just one that's all I ask
- The letter I sent to Meagan. It had two frogs that I colored and sent her, because it was midnight and I might have been a little crazy, but mostly because I like to channel my inner three year old
- This song. And the rest of the album, and maybe her.
P.S I might just put some pictures up of my hair. Just be patient. They will come, sooner or later.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday
Alrighty, I am going to make an attempt at this.
Awkward:
- walking with your friends who are totally in love and being the third wheel
- the number of times it took me to spell awkward right, my fingers just aren't working tonight
- the fact that sometimes my science teacher is just a LITTLE flirtatious, really man you're like 20 years older than me, I don't think it's going to work out
- being the bench warmer during a church ball game, I didn't even know it was possible
- breaking someones heart, I feel bad, I really do
- your voice cracking while talking on the phone and then that conversation when you get asked a bazillion questions just so the person is absolutely sure you're not a thirteen year old boy. I'm sick, it happens
- waving at someone you thought you knew but when you look closer it's not, and then they wave back and give you that strange look like " didn't your mother ever teach you not to wave at strangers?"
- getting checked out by a sixth grader, cant boys my age like me?
- the size of my ankle, I promise it's real and if you touch it I will kick you and I'm not kidding
- falling asleep during class and waking up to a big red implant of your watch on your face
Awesome:
- almost midnight runs to Walmart with your brother just to get some OJ and then coming home without it
-getting really angry and fantasizing about your future husband because it makes you feel better
- telling your best friend your plans for your future hubby and how you hope that on the weekends he will sit on the couch and "read" books with you
- Phillip Phillips, he makes my world spin
- riding in the car with the most wonderful person in the world, she makes me super happy
- the look my brother gave me as soon as Phil came on the screen
- drawing random pictures because I HATE drawing circles
- speaking Spanish and sounding like a Gringo, unfortunately I am not a native so I do indeed have an American accent
- buying old lady jeans and getting funny looks about it, what they're super comfy
- telling my Mother all about my plans for my future wedding, and then finding out that the wedding dress I am in love with is 4,000 dollars
- my mom offering to make my wedding dress
Well guys how did I do, good I hope. Happy Thursday!
