Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Awkward:
- Tripping onto the bus. Super embarrassing. Just smile and DON'T make eye contact, it's a bad idea.
- My school does an Apple Bees breakfast thingy every year. It's been going on  for thirteen years. Guess who is the only student in all history who has ever broken a plate. Your's truly. I didn't only break one though, I broke five. My teacher still tells the story. I am a legend. But that's not the awkward part. The worst part is that random people come up to me at school and ask me if I am that girl who broke all the plates. When asked I laugh and say " no, why would I do something like that?" Yup, I am a liar. Only sometimes.
- Remember Quinton, he still likes me. I try to be nice but dude I can only handle so much of you.
- Yesterday in science our teacher was openly discussing his relationship status. I was like dude, I don't really care.
-  I showed girls around my school today. They are good little girls from a school called Christ the King. We were walking by my friends who were stapling papers and one of them stapled his finger, he dropped the f- bomb and that look the girls gave him was so funny. I was laughing so hard. The girls didn't talk for the rest of the tour.
- Me and Meagan openly discuss the boys we have been crushing on since forever with Mr. Appel. He thinks it's funny. Seriously it is though. We always are laughing,
-those girls we showed around, they didn't laugh at any of mine or Meagan's jokes. It was really sad.
- I am back to having to keep my ankle wrapped up. It sucks. I just want to be healthy.
- My brother has MONO. I shared a drink with him. Not lately but like in the last month. I hope I don't get it.
Awesome:
- On the bus I had to teach a kid how to spell awesome. It was really sad.
- The wonderful dreams I have been having lately. We won't g into detail, you will think I am weird if I tell you about them. ( I promise they aren't dirty)
- My adopted brother is sleeping at my house tonight. He is pretty chill.
- So You Think You Can Dance started tonight. I can't wait to watch it tomorrow.
- I babysat Christian this week. He feel asleep on my chest. It was so sweet.
- I am going to my first professional baseball game on Saturday. I can't wait.
- I have to memorize the periodic table, but I'm not going to. I don't really care about school any more.
- There are only 11 more days of school. Summer please come faster.
- I haven't gone to bed  till midnight for the last three days. I love my book so much, I just can't seem to put it down
Speaking of going to bed I need to do that so buenas noche amigos

P.S I am almost fluent in Spanish. Can't you tell?

Laugh Hard, I Dare You

So here are those stories I promised.
First: I was being cranky at school and my sixth hour teacher told me to go home and take a nap before I went to the party at the school that my Mom made me go to. So being the obedient child that I am, I came home and  took a nap. It was a good nap. Three and a half hours of napping. It was wonderful. So I wake up and I look up and there is a spider hanging right above my head. So what do I do? I turn around and start to cry. Just because there was a spider above me. Who does that? About two minutes after I started to cry I decide that I should maybe just kill the spider. So what do I use, the blanket that I am sleeping in. I miss and the spider happily crawls into  my bed. I scream and go to get ready for this party that I am going to.
Second: I get to the party and I played ring toss the whole time, until I went and got in everybody else pictures.  I went into the dance floor for like fifteen seconds and it was so bad that I had to leave.
Third: I did all my laundry and cleaned my room. I rocked out to my Disney and A Rocket to the Moon Pandora station. And I finished reading The Giver. It was a good book. You should read it.
Lastly: Here is a quote from my little brother " do you know how a zebra is made?" "when a black and a white horse stand next to each other they make a black horse. " it was so funny. I hope you laughed.

Heartbroken

You're probably wondering what experience I have with being heartbroken, the answer is none. But, I am. It's the kind of heartbroken like when a good friend has left. Or maybe like your favorite Elder? Yup, that's right Elder Ray is gone. I found this out on Sunday and I was crushed. There I was practicing for our choir performance and I see Elder Frei walk in with a different companion. He looked at me like " he's gone, lets be sad together" So I returned his look with a look that said "is he really gone" and he nodded his head. To be honest I wanted to cry. It's been an emotional weekend.I  I will tell you more stories in a different post. You will laugh really hard because it is funny.

I am sitting here icing my ankle because it has been killing me. I seriously want to chop it off right now. So to pass the time ( more like to keep me from actually chopping off my ankle) I am writing.
Well, this week has been quite eventful. so far I have gotten over my fear of going to open gym. ALONE!! Written my first cover letter for a job and gotten over my fear of the high school football team, while they are working out. Yup, that's right I went into the weights room today. You're probably wondering what kind of teenage girl is scared of being in a room full of hot sweaty boys working out with out their shirts on, but I am that girl. But, in case you are wondering I find watching muscles flex really entertaining. The guys not so much.

One More Little Note

I forgot to write this. Thanks to all the women who have shaped and supported me in all that I do. You guys are so amazing and I am so grateful for you and the great example you are for me. You know who you are, because I was at your house with your kids this week or you are my leaders or you talked to me today. Happy Mothers Day. You all are amazing and I and I love you all so much.

Listen to this song, it is so wonderful. Rachel reminded me about it in her talk today. Emma Smith is one of those women who has been a great example to me.
She was such an amazing women and I admire her for it.

Happy Mothers Day

I have been blessed with an amazing mother. She has taught me to put up with my brothers and annoying boys who wont leave me alone. She has taught me to love and to never lower my standard for anyone. She'd taught me how to be a good person and to cook and clean. She raised me in this gospel, and i don't know what I would be like with out it. She taught me that education is important and that it should be valued. My Mom has been my friend when no one else is. She is so amazing and I am so grateful that Heavenly Father placed me in her care. She is so wonderful and I wouldn't be the person I am without her. Mom thanks so much for all that you do to me, and even when I am grumpy and snarky know that I still and always will love you. You are amazing.

I Am ALIVE:)

Did you think I died? I didn't I promise, I just fell off the planet for a couple of days. More like a week. Do you want to know what I've done for the last seven days? I sure hope so because I am going to tell you.
Lets start with:
Monday:
I woke up at approximately 6:45 and I slowly got ready for school, almost missing the bus which I had to run to.
I went to school and learned.
I came home and watched Once Upon A Time ( which makes me really angry, so I don't know why I still watch it.)
I think I cleaned the kitchen.
Then I went to bed
Tuesday;
I woke up at approximately 6:45 and slowly got ready for school, almost missing the bus for the second time this week. It makes it so I don't have to awkwardly talk to the boy who has an extremely large crush in me.
I got to school and watched  The Boy In the Stripped Pajamas.
I then went to take the state test that every student has to take. I spent an hour and forty- five minutes on one problem. It was awesome.
I came home and took a nap.
 Then I went to Mutal.
Then I danced down the halls of the church while singing Stayin' Alive. I wasn't alone, Shelby and Ellynn were with me. We exited the building and danced down the sidewalk. Then we danced by the Elders and they danced with us! We have really cool Elders. You will hear more about them later.
I went home and went to bed.
Wednesday:
I woke up at 6:45 and was late for the bus again. It's a good thing I can run fast.
I went to school and learned.
I came home and wished that I could go riding but I went to open gym instead.
There was no open gym so I came home and started cleaning the house for Thursday
Then I did my home work and went to bed
Thursday:
Thursday was a well anticipated day. I couldn't wait.
I woke up earlier than normal and threw on my sweats and headed for the bus. I wasn't late this time.
I learned at school.
I came home and finished cleaning the house because no one who lives in my house knows how (this is my biggest pet peeve, I cant stand it when nobody cares when the house is dirty.)
I helped make dinner and the I filled out job applications, and did my other homework.
I played the piano
I colored with chalk, it felt like time was moving so slow but I couldn't wait for the Elders to get here
While I was coloring they showed up and look at all my cool pictures
I went in and washed my hands while they decided how they wanted their steak cooked.
We ate dinner, which was so yummy
Then my little brother told knock-knock jokes
They gave an object lesson that was so amazing, we got pictures, I'll have to put them on here someday.
We ate brownies and talked and told more dumb jokes like " what's blue and smells like red paint" or " how do you make an egg roll" or " what has a bottom at the top"
We  cleaned and then we did magic tricks ( more like my little brothers did magic tricks)
Then some how a quarter showed up and we played "Bloody Knuckles". If you don't know what that game is I will tell you. You spin a quarter on a table and flick it. If you make it stop then the other player gets to shoot the quarter at your knuckles. It splits your knuckles open and you bleed. If you don't understand I suggest you go to the nearest middle school and ask the boys how to play.
The Elders wouldn't let me play because " they would feel bad if they made me bleed, but then Elder Frei (sounds like fry) Shot me with one on "accident." It hit my thigh but it hurt so bad.
My brother went and got his shocking game and we played that. I got shocked and it scared me. I jumped like five feet.
It was time for the Elder to go so we said good-bye and they left
I went to bed not much later after they left
Friday:
I went to school we got out early.
We watched the Sandlot in Spanish
Me and my brother went to get my moms mothers day gift
I went and babysat Brock and Jovie we colored with chalk
Brett and Jana got home and I got to hold their baby for the first time. They have the cutest kids in the world. I am like their kids older sister. I love that family.
Saturday:
I woke up at seven (which was so early for a weekend and then I just chilled in my room for an hour and a half.
I went to the Best of EFY with Shelby and we heard One Direction four time on the radio.
I was left at my house all alone for most of the day so I watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Shelby came and got me for the quad-stake dance
I danced once with a  boy in my ward named Jordan. I love Jordan, he is so nice and is such a good influence. He is one of the young men that I look up to. He's really cool, I wish you could all meet him. Thanks Jordan, you made my night last night.
Sunday:
I went to church which was focused around mothers. I just want to wish all the mothers who have been such good example to me. You all are great mothers.
I came home in not such a great mood and went into my room and cried. I'm a little bit emotional
Then I started to write this book of a post.

So about those Elders. They are the coolest people I have ever met. Elder Ray is a volleyball player and is super attractive, he's really cool. Probably one of my favorite Elders. He is from Arizona. Elder Frei is a goofball. He is/was a wrestler and he is from Utah. He is my other favorite Elder.  He is cool too.The two of them together is so much fun.

La Mision Santa Cruz

I recommend that you watch this. It touched my heart and made me want to go to Bolivia and meet the people there.

Sidewalk Chalk

Last night was Prom, and to celebrate my singleness I colored my whole driveway. I seriously used one piece of chalk so much that it no longer exists. That's right I used the whole thing. If you just happen to be having a bad day I suggest that you go to the store and by some chalk. You might feel like you're five but it is sooo worth it.
Of course my pictures didn't look like these, but more like this one

                                 OR

And when I was done my hands most definitely look like this

 Without the flower.

Awkward and Awesome

Awkward:
-When a boy has such a big crush on you that he makes an effort to be  next to you all the time. It would be cute, but guys he is weird and not that cute and I could beat him up with one finger. I'm sorry to say that his "little" crush is creeping me out. I had Holly tell him to back off and leave me alone because he was freaking my out, it worked for two days, then he was back to sitting on my lap again. It doesn't help that he sits right next to me in forth and fifth hour classes. To make it worse he rides my bus and lives in my neighborhood. Thank goodness for my Dad at school ( my counselor/ teacher) he said if he keeps it up he'll break it to him and tell him to stop following me. What would I do without Holly and Mr. Appel?
- I'm am so white, I just want my tan!
- This awesome weather were having here in Tri-Town, not. Mother nature I am questioning your sanity.
- Not being able to remember/ think of anything to write

- Standardize testing. It makes me moody, and people that's a problem. I haven't been fun to be around for the last two weeks, and I don't think it will get any better till this testing stuff is over, and that's like two weeks.
-When you friends that are boys are playing footsie right next to you, and  they accidentally somehow get your foot stuck with theirs and your like "what the heck are you doing with my foot boys?" and then their like "oh that's your foot sorry." We didn't talk for the rest of the hour.
- Playing MASH. All I can say is, sometimes you marry the nerds and other times you marry  seventh graders. No problem. I'm cool with it and I like nerdy boys.
-Sometimes I just take other peoples food. It mostly happens at lunch. It's a good thing my friends like me.
Awesome:
- Brady's home. My life is complete. I want him to stay forever, but we all know that that's not going to happen, he leaves to the land of the Brazilians in August. He will do so good.
- That feeling you have after you finish a book. Even if it is the worst book you've ever read.
- My fifth hour teacher doesn't mark people tarty or late or anything. It's awesome, and so is he.
- Doing service projects for Mutual (which is practically youth group for the LDS/ Mormons.) We laid six crates of sod, and shoveled 18 yards of rock. I've never had so much fun in my life. Here's a funny story from the night: the Elders were there, and of course the had normal clothes on. I was standing behind them and to my friend I was like" who are those boys in front of us, I've never seen them in my life" and like two seconds after I said that they turned around simultaneously and said "Kelley you know who we are" they weren't even wearing their name tags. It was weird. By the way me and Elder Ray matched, we were both wearing our red volleyball shirts, now that was weird.
- Tomorrow night I get to babysit my five most favorite kids. I am so excited. We are going to have a blast.
- Right now I am listing to "old" country music I love it.
- Rachel this is for you, or any other teenage girl who want's to read it.
