When I wear my Puma sweats I feel like a soccer player. Speaking of soccer, does anyone know who won the U.S.A - Canada game today. U.S.A was up 1-0 until like the 57th minute and then Canada scored. It was an intense game. I wanted to finish it, but then my mother invited me to go to Costco with her. So I did.
Guys I still haven't packed for Utah yet. I don't want to.

Ben Rector
Ya, I know, you thought I was going to bed. I did too. But then I started to read this cute blog and then I found this cover of Free Falling by John Mayer
Watch it and fall in love with the song. It's wonderful.
Guys my hands smell like stinky hand soap. It's driving me crazy.

As of Late
I went to the dentist. They love me, I loved them. But then they hurt my teeth today and I want to cry. No cavities, woo hoo, it's been like this for eight years.
I was going to go to basketball tomorrow, but then I almost threw up all over the place and now I don't want to move or eat. I have eaten anything but yogurt today, and I don't even like yogurt. I have decided not to eat anything because it is threatening to come back up. All I want to do is sleep.
I have a fever. It sucks.
In like two days I will be at BYU playing basketball, I don't really know how I feel about this. I might even sneak into a couple of dances that I'm not invited to. Is that bad?
I am listening to Disney again. The "sound of music" just came on! Loves.
I worked out today and my abs are killing me. I love being sore. It tells me that I am a hard-worker. There is nothing better than the pain of success.
I tripped onto the trampoline today and I almost died. I laughed so hard. I'm sure the people that were driving behind my house laughed so hard that they peed their pants.
I hate when the soap in the bathroom smells funny. Here's some advise: don't let men pick out your hand soap.
I love little rambling sessions. Don't you?
I took a nap at five thirty and that's why I am still awake.
I need to go pack again. I just got all of my stuff from girls camp put away. Who want to pack for me. It most likely wont get done till saturday night.
I played my brothers guitar today, oh how I strive to be good at it, and learn how to play it for reals.
My brother just walked in with a bag full of normally hard to resist foods and none of them looked good to me. being sick is the worst.
I've run out of things to say. Have a fan-freaking-tastic night. I know I will!

I Want to Be a Princess!
I have a little obsession. It has to do with my Disney Pandora station. It varies from Wicked to Tarzan. It couldn't get any better. My life rocks right now.
This album just came on. I sure love me some princesses. I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I've always wanted to be a princess. Just like on Disney, and I want them to make a movie out of my life.

Good, Cute Baby Clothes Do Exist
Well, my heart just melted. These baby clothes are so adorable. I want them for myself. Look at all of them.
Here are so of my favorites:

Dear Future Children,
Even without these clothes I am sure you will be cute.
With all Love, your mother
Dearest Husband,
Our children are going to be so adorable. I know that these clothes will cost a whole pay check of two but... I love them. I know our kids are going to be cute because I was a cute baby and I am sure that you were too so I say we make sure that they are super cute and we get them these clothes?
Yours Truly, Kelley
Man, those yellow jeans cost more than my jeans do, but I sure love them.

I Want to Leave
I need change.
Don't get me wrong I love this little town that I live in but I need to leave. I need to meet new people, go exploring, try new food, learn a new language. I need to travel and see the world.
I have always known that I want to travel, but I have never felt the urge to go right now until this week. I am seriously ready to hop on a plane and see where it takes me. I want to see the sights. I want to learn the ways of different people. You can learn places in a text book, but you can never really know that place until you have actually been there. I want to know the world.
My kind of travel has nothing to do with tour guide and buses full of people. It has little to do with famous places and must see spots in the world. My kind of travel revolves around getting lost and finding places on accident. If I ever go anywhere I want to explore, be adventurous, fall in love.
I need change.
I'm ready to find places like this
explore abandoned castles like this one
See this beauty
I normally don't like clocks but I do want to see this one, but I don't need a fancy tour guide to help me see it all I need is a bike and my own two eyes.
and I really want to visit Dublin
I think I need to study abroad. Maybe I can talk my mom into sending me to a different country for a year.

I Love to Dance
Last night there was a dance. guess who were there. Nickle and Quarter. Meagan was so happy and so was I . That's all I have to say.
Girls Camp
I went into Girls Camp with a bad attitude because I didn't want to be there, so my first day was pretty miserable. On Wednesday ( that was the first day) I helped other girls set up their a-frame thinking that I would be sleeping in there, but they thought otherwise. So at like 7:30 I get told that there is no room for me and I have to go find another place to sleep, that really sucked because it was starting to get dark and I had no place to sleep. So I ended up sleeping in the other a-frame with other girls. That was an adventure within itself. I love them to death but I just wanted to leave. As we were sitting by the fire I wrote in my journal, and I quote, " I guess I am glad I am marring a man because I would never be able to deal with another person from the female species. Poor men. I honestly feel bad for men." I still feel this way about women, I don't know how men do it. Then I went to bed which took forever because the girls wanted to switch the way we were sleeping. So frustrating, and it made me want to go home even more. Thursday was way better . I decided that if I wanted to have fun, and I did, then I needed to change my attitude so that I would be capable of being happy. So I did just that, and it might have been the best day of camp. We started the day off with a hike through a mile and a half long train tunnel. It was so cool, and dark. I loved it. At one point we had to turn off all of our flashlights and it was so dark. You could feel the darkness surround you and it was scary. We talked about how the tunnel was like life. It was a good hike. After the tunnel we hiked down the mountain and saw like three waterfalls, big ones. I only almost fell down the mountain like three times. No big deal. I got to go riding and boy were the missionaries cute. It was a lot of fun and I wasn't shy at all, so the staff loved me. They offered me barrel racing lessons, and I really wanted them. The whole trail ride I talked to the wrangler who was riding behind me and she was super cool. then I went back to camp and tried to learn my lines for the skit. I hate lines so much. The skit ended up really good and I loved it. After skit night we went to bed. Thursday was crazy. It poured rain the whole day. We had a service project and we cleaned out pine needles and other sticks. Then rain started, and I don't think it has stopped yet. We got to chill in our camp sights for two and a half hours. I took a nap. Then I went and shot guns and bow and arrows and made bracelets and hair flowers and other things. Then I went back to camp and just chilled. Then there was a bear. Not kidding. It scared the crap out of me. We couldn't go to commitment night because of that darn bear, and it was still raining. Commitment night was awesome and we talked about how we were placed on this earth for a reason. It was so spiritual and I actually cried which never happens. I think that Satan really didn't want us to have commitment night. I mean he tried all that he could and we still happened to pull it off. It was a crazy good night. Then we had a testimony meeting that was really spiritual and was good. Today we came home and I was/am so glad that I am home. In the last week I have nly spent like 10 hours with my family. I missed them so much. SO know that you've read this book I have some pictures for you.
these were all taken in the tunnel
and these were outside of it
these are all the waterfalls we saw
this is Gabby
this is Meagan
this is Katie
As you can tell I don't believe in taking normal pictures

I'm Leaving On a Jet Plane, But Not Really
I'm not exactly leaving on a jet plane, but when I thought of that title I couldn't help but think of that song. Got to love John Denver.
Let's talk girls camp. Maybe the best thing that will/has ever happened to me. Why wouldn't it be, I get to go chill in the woods with like 300 girls. Party? I think YES. The week is going to be amazeballs. Remember how yesterday I didn't want to go? Well, I sure want to go now. I get to pretend to be an Australian for ONE WHOLE DAY, I can't wait.

Can you believe that I, being the young child that I am, know who this man is. I must be my father's daughter.
By the way this is the one and only JOHN DENVER.

Can We Talk Packing?
I have to pack for camp. But I don't want to. So I'm not. And I probably wont until 2:00 in the morning on Wednesday morning because I leave on Wednesday, at like 5:00. Packing takes me like four hours so... and my room is a mess because I seriously got home four hours ago and I haven't even unpacked from this weekend. Therefore I have no clothes and a bunch of work to do. But here's the problem, tomorrow I am going to help one of my young women's leaders all day. So realistically I will never get packed and I will have to go to camp with no clothes and no food and nothing to sleep on. So does anyone want to come pack for me? Seriously.
Gonzaga Camp
So for the last four days I have been living the life of a college basketball player, but not really. I lived in the dorms, ate cafeteria food and walked every where, and of course I played 12 hours of basketball everyday. Let me tell you the dorms are tiny. And the beds suck, and so does the food. That might have been the hardest part because I LOVE FOOD. But of course all the good things definitely out weighed the bad things. My schedule went something like this:
6:30 - wake up
6:45 - actually get out of bed
7:00 - go eat breakfast
7:30 - head to the McCarthy Center and watch a workout
9:00 - Go play a basketball game
10:00 - Ice the heck out of my ankle
10:30 - go to a skills session
11:00 - play another basketball game
12:00 - ice my ankle again while eating lunch
1:00 - skills session
2:00 - another basketball game
3:00 - team concepts
4:00 a little time to chill ( normally spent at the mac center)
4: 30 - dinner
5:00 - skills session
6:00 - basketball game
7:00 - ice some more
8:00 - team concepts
9:00 - something to do with the gonzaga team
10:00 - get back to our dorms and order pizza because we were so hungry
11:00 - just chill
11:30 - go to bed, this normally didn't happen until 1:00 in the morning or later
I played hard and I worked my bottom off, but it was so much fun. I could probably sleep for 3 days straight, but I get to go to girls camp instead.
You want to hear some stories from the week?
Hear is the first one
The first night I was really home sick so I called my mom. The people in my dorm, which was everyone I swear, were being really loud. So I got into the closet and called my mom. Then she told me she didn't want to talk to me because she was at the store. So I called my dad and we talked for like two minutes. It was grand. Then everyone in my room made fun of me for sitting in the closet and calling my mom. Then we ordered pizza and I was fine.
The second night we threw gold fish ( the kind you can eat) into each others mouths, they ended up all over my floor.
The third night I fell asleep at 9:30, because we didn't have anything to do that night, the girls order pizza and then they came into my room and asked me if I wanted any and I talked to them while I was asleep.
Last night I fell off the bed and I have a huge bruise on my behind. After this week I swear it looks like I am abused, but I'm not I promise.
One day while we were walking over the sky bridge there were some boys playing football and we were talking about what we wanted to do and I suggested that we go and play football with the boys. They totally heard me and pointed at me, so I waved at them and they got the biggest grin in the world. Then all the girls freaked out and said Kelley no boys in the dorms, and didn't your mother ever teach you not to talk to strangers? I replied with a simple no.
So on Saturday I wore my BYU shirt and I had no idea that GU and BYU were rivals and I got so many dirty looks. Then finally some lady told me to change my shirt. I told her no and then said that I was proud of it and walked away and she laughed.
It was a great week and I cant wait to get to BYU so I can do the same thing, but this time I get to sleep in my sisters apartment and eat good food.
As you can tell I didn't have much time to take pictures but here is one of my ankle or lack of ( Holly calls it my cankle) after I got done icing. That blue thing is a vain.

Can you tell that it's super swollen? I suggest not taring three ligaments in your ankle. Just don't do anything stupid even if you could score and make it so your team can win, and if anything bad does happen to you do what your doctor told you because I am regretting not wearing my brace everyday all day, and if I would have done what I was told I wouldn't have this beautiful cankle, but let's be honest, it's kind of growing on me, and me and Holly have a ton of inside jokes. It's a lot of fun to make fun of, and I laugh at it all the time because it looks funny.

Awkward and Awesome
Awkward:
- You won't believe what I did on the last day of school, and my last school bus ride in my life. I tripped onto the bus again, this time leaving three beautiful bruises on my shin. This time instead of hanging my head in shame, I embraced the embarrassment and laughed with everyone else. Definitely a better choice than hanging your head. I think everyone who rode my bus will remember me for the rest of their lives as the girl who tripped onto the bus and fell into the bus drivers lap. That might have been the most awkward part of the whole story.
- For the first couple of days my basketball coaches knew me as " the girl who got hit in the face and bled out of her nose for thirty minutes.
- Yesterday I got asked if I had a room mate for the GU camp, and I replied " Ya, Nicole took me" then Nicole said " where did I take you?" and I replied " you are my partner". Then she asked " hey partner, do you want to go lay in the grass with me" and I said " yes partner, I would like that a lot." I don't think some of the girls appreciated our jokes, neither did the coaches, but it was really funny.
- Sometimes I sing to my fish Douglass. Mostly out of tune and off key, when I try I can sing but I like to keep my life colorful. I think he thinks I'm crazy, but then who doesn't?
- I almost asked a random lady at Walmart if I could borrow her basket. the plan was to borrow it the never return it but I chickened out and didn't ask. The awkward part was right after we passed her I told my mom the plan and right as I looked back at the lady she looked at me and she gave me the look like " don't you dare steal my cart. I just laughed.
- As I was walking into Walmart, a cart was rolling into the middle of the rode, so what did I do. I pretended to be Superman and ran to the cart and stopped it from hitting the car that was coming. I felt really cool... until I noticed that the cart was going to fall on top of me.
Awesome:
- Nicole told me that she talks in her sleep, I told her that I'll just talk back.
- In the last week I have gone t o bed no sooner than one in the morning. That means on average I have gotten about four and a half hours per night. Lets just say that when I don't sleep I am freaking hilarious. Just ask my mom.
- Me and my mother were talking about the Beatles ( Paul McCartney was on the front page of Time) and she asked me if I even knew who they were. I replied " duh, who doesn't? " Then she asked me if I could name all four. I said " of course" and named John Lennon and Paul McCartney and spaced on the last two. ( I cannot believe that I couldn't remember the other two) Then my madre told me that they were Ringo Star and George Harrison. Then to prove to her that I knew who they were I told her about how some people think he is still alive and the lady checking out in front of us said " I just saw him" Then as she was walking away she said " he was with Elvis." Best thing of my life.
- At practice I threw a ball to my coach and it rolled into the training room, so she threw back at me and it hit me in the face. Count on how many times I've been hit in the face today: 5.
-When my coach walked out of the gym today we were having a "serious meeting" and Anna ( a girl on my team) said to my coach " I thought you had a drivers license"( she was pushing the ball rack out of the gym and was struggling) Coach walked by and said " shut up." The group of girls who were around me and Anna and Nicole all burst into laughter. The head coach yelled at us and told us that we need to be serious. When you are with me when I am going off four hours of sleep and Nicole is with me, nothing is serious, so you probably don't want to expect us to be.
- I said a lot of stupid things today, they were all really funny. Then I told my Mom that if I died she wouldn't know what to do because I make her life colorful. A while after that I told her that I am glad that I can entertain myself because if I was boring I would be bored all the time. Like I said me on four hours of sleep is crazy. But it is really funny. Next time I am like this I will invite you to come to my house and observe my funniness.
- I really wish that I still played soccer. I have been trying to pick up on some of those moves that I use to be able to do. I don't plan on playing on any Olympic soccer team any time soon. But then good soccer skills run in this town, Hope Solo the goalie for U.S women's soccer team graduated from my high school and played for the team all four years of high school. Are you jealous?

Obsession?
So as Mr. Wise and Mighty Brady would say, I'm "obsessed" with One Direction. But the truth is... I'm not.
Yes, I have seen all the video diaries and I like their music but, obsession really? In my very own words I would define obsession as " only talking and thinking about one topic, and heaven knows that if I only talked about one thing all day I would go mad, and I do not have the attention span to think about one thing all day. Therefore I am not obsessed. Good I'm glad that I cleared that little misunderstanding, I feel much better.
P.S if you're wondering which one of the boys I am "totally" crushing on, I would say it have to be ( drum roll please) Niall. I like Irish boys. I always have and I always will.
This just might be my favorite picture of him. Ever. I promise that I didn't find it by googleing Niall Horan, but it was a simple encounter. I found it on my Pinterest wall. So it was not my fault that I found it.
