Not a Happy Ending, But Still Happy

He's home!!! Finally. We went to the airport to pick him up and I walk right passed him and didn't recognize him. he did his "cool man" wave and I gave him a skeptical look and was like " why is this dude waving at me?" Then I realized it was him and wanted to jump into his arms and give him the biggest hug ever, and tell him how much I missed him,  but I knew he wouldn't like that, so I just slowly walked over to him and said "hey", I was a little disappointed but I was happy to have him home.

He's Home (almost)

Remember this boy? The older one, well he comes home in six days. Do you know how happy that makes me, of course you don't so let me tell you. It makes me super happy. And the best part is... he's coming home for more than just a week or two. He's coming home for four months! I can't wait. Brady make these last six days come faster, I can't wait to see your face.

Summertime = Happiness

I've been awake for approximately (wait, let me count) five and a half hours and five of them have been spent outside. Dude it's like 75 degrees, and I'm loving it. I took my dog and brothers (real and adopted) on a walk. I read my book and went to Home Depot. That doesn't sound like enough to take up five hours, but our walk ended up taking an hour and a half, and I read for like two hours. That never happens. The sun just makes me extremely happy. Well, I better go help my Popsie get ready to plant flowers! I cant wait!

A Hidden Treasure

Not really hidden, just forgotten. Two words Vanessa Carlton. Totally forgot she existed until today. And just because I know how much you love music videos, here is my very favorite.

LOVE

i dream about the feelings i'll feel, and the ways i'll show you.
i dream about you and i being silly, because thats just the way we are.
i dream about the moment you tell me you love me,
and i just smile because i feel it too.
i dream about the day that's ours, that we'll be sealed.
i dream about kissing your nose when i wake up in the night,
and kissing your sweet lips when you leave for the day.
i dream about it a lot, you know.
i dream about cooking you dinner
and surprising you with that book or game you wanted because there
was a little more money in my spending budget.
i dream about your excitement as a little something grows inside my belly,
and your hand in mine when our children come to be.
i dream about them calling you daddy, and about them
getting excited when they hear that car door.
i dream about cuddling up to a movie after the kids are in bed,
because we need some 'us time'.
i dream about all the little things,
like kisses and hugs and simple little smiles.
because i know we'll find each other,
and i know it will be what God has planned.
the hard part now is waiting,
only because i feel you so close,
yet so far because i don't know who you are.
but i know you're there.
i know you're out there somewhere just waiting for me,
just like i'm waiting for you.
i know you love me a little bit, because you dream about me.
but its okay, i love you already because i dream about you too.
just give it time, and we'll finally find what we've been waiting for.
website with a ton of wedding ideas.... nice to have :)
I dream of days just like this one ( P.S this is not me, I just borrowed it from Pinterest.)

I found this cute little poem(that may or may not be what I dream about) here. And I love it.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Awkward:
-The bruise on my foot that is in the shape of a horse shoe. Like the actual size of a horses foot. My skin is a pretty blue-green color. I always find a way to hurt myself.
-Talking to random people in the hallway. What do you say when they give you little look like "I don't want to do it, you do. If you don't do it I'm going home. Okay I'll do it" Sorry, I just had a Kid History moment.
- Quoting Kid History when either the person next to you gives the look like "what the heck are you talking about child." or having to say after you quote Kid History  "um Kid History moment, sorry you didn't catch on to that, and I know that you've seen it so don't pretend you haven't." I only said half of that out loud.
- Shoving breakfast down your throat, when your brother walks in with his attractive friend and your like " oh hey don't mind me, I'm just running a bit late." Then choking on the food you just placed in your mouth. In that situation you hid your face and run out of the room. And make your little brother go in that room when you forget something, just to resist the embarrassment.
-Being that kid in class who is the ONLY who will answer questions, so after you answer one question you sulk down in your chair and hope the teacher doesn't call on you.
- Every time you try to spell because, you have to use the acronym: big elephants can always use some exercise; because it's not like you have been spelling that since you were in second grade. But even worse, yesterday I couldn't remember how to spell Mississippi. Do you remember having contests in like first grade to see who could spell it the fastest. I always lost those contests. It might still be the longest word I know.(Kidding)
Awesome:
- Driving down the highway BLASTING Mulan. Best night ever. The best part was that it was my brothers idea.
- Talking to the Elders almost everyday this week. They  crack me up. It was even better when one of them asked me for sheet music.
- Horseback ridding. I went fast. That's the reason for my bruise. But it was totally worth it.
- Watching Up in Spanish. Cutest love story ever.
- Late night runs to McDonald's. I don't sleep so it's no problem.
 - over competitive dads. NOT. It was the Pinewood Derby for goodness sake, and it was for your son not you! Lets just say that I had to leave the room.
- The mini photo session I had with Brock. One of the cutest kids ever, and the pictures turned out goo for just messing around.
- The song previously mentioned in the post before. Rocking out to it right now.
- It's raining, it's pouring, my old man is snoring. I love the rain. I wish it would rain all day everyday. I promise I'm not a sad person, for some weird reason it makes me happy.
-The sunshine. So I sound bipolar right now I know but the sun is finally starting to come out.
- Lastly, for "entry task" in history we were asked to draw our favorite famous person, and I drew Chuck Norris (even though I have no idea who he is, and just last week I found out that he is real) and he had a super cool mustache/beard. Be jealous of my drawing skills. Really don't because they're not that great.

I have been planning this post for like three days. Tells you how much of a life I really have. Lets be honest, life has been kind of slow lately. Most of my days are the kick-back-and-relax/ throw-your-feet-up-on-the-nearest-table sort of days. I've mostly been writing stories. I think they turned out pretty good. Someday I might just put them on here. But they are even longer than this post, and I couldn't type fast to save my life.

Oh Joshua

Different Joshua then normal. Joshua Radin to be exact.

I smiled as soon as I heard the beat. Definitely a summer song. I think I've listened to it like 10 times in a row.
